Dear family and close friends,
For the last few years, many people have told us about Joni and friends' camps. We had always wanted to go, but it was never the right timing and didn't work out.
We came in contact with a man named Larry through a connection last summer in Tennessee, and last week, he came to our house to personally invite our family to their camp. Larry is the founder of a camp called Camp Celebrate that was started as a partner to Joni and friends.
Their Mission:
Luke 14 Ministries exists to create opportunities for life-changing encounters with Jesus by celebrating and serving people living with a disability. This purpose is the driving force behind all that we do. From providing services to celebrations, we aim to train and build infrastructure for those affected by disability locally and globally.
We are excited to say we have been given a spot for our whole family at their camp outside Knoxville this July. These camps are always on waiting lists and can be hard to get into.
The camp cost is too much for our family to pay now, with Aaron just returning to work after being unemployed for over 14 months which is why I'm asking for your help.
If God lays it on your heart, consider supporting our family to attend this camp. The cost is $1,440 for a week.
Russell and Hazel will be assigned a buddy and Aaron, and I will have time during the day without the kids with other special needs parents like us to make friends.
We are anxious about this camp experience because if you know us, we NEVER sleep out of the house with our kids but believe God is calling us to go.
We have been through a lot and it's honestly been so hard feeling like no one we know “gets it” which is why this camp will be life-changing.

If we get $1,440 that will send us and $2,880 will send another family in need.
