Yesterday we had the privilege to catch up with a long-time friend, a friend we hadn’t seen since before Hazel was born.
As I recounted our life between our last visit and today, all the memories flooded back.
In just four years, we had two special needs kids, fought cancer, said goodbye to one of our parents, moved out of town, and are now planning to move across the country. 🤭
Now that’s a lot of change!!!
It seems overwhelming when you look at it as a whole, but that’s not how it hits you in life. In life, it strikes one small or big thing at a time. One by one, and then suddenly, looking back, it’s a lot.
If you’re like me and you are looking back and feeling overwhelmed with everything God has thrown your way, remind yourself it comes in small chunks, and amongst those are always sprinkles of blessings too.
