Today, many dreams I've had for the movement came to fruition.

The Hazelnut Takeover at the YMCA was our first of many half-day programs designed to teach kids this message: we were all created different and unique, on purpose for a purpose.

Kids walked away seeing their challenges as opportunities and their strengths as a vessel to help others.

From the Hazelnut story to games about disability and listening exercises, we did it all.

This was powerful, and I know these kids walked away changed.

The future honestly terrifies me because I'm just a small-town girl who battles fear of failure and imposter syndrome, and this is so much more than I ever imagined.

I have to remind myself that to do God's work, I can't do it alone. I need help, and I am one tiny piece of the puzzle.

But let me tell you how powerful it is to be that piece in the puzzle.

If you want to be a part of this incredible work God is doing through the movement, consider being an intern for 2024-2025, volunteering at an event, or donating. All donations are tax deductible, as we are officially a nonprofit with Luke 14 Ministries! God is so good.

Donate under general fund and make a note that says for The Hazelnut Movement.
