Stories that create compassion, resilience, inclusion, and hope.

Meet Julia Erman
Hi, I’m Julia Erman.
I’m an author, speaker, rare disorder mom, and founder of The Hazelnut Movement.
What began as a way to help others better understand my children’s medical journey has grown into a compassion-centered educational brand focused on storytelling, inclusion, and meaningful connection.
Through books, speaking engagements, and educational resources, I hope to help families, schools, and communities create spaces where every child feels like they belong.

“Julia’s message was such a blessing. Her story touched so many people and left a lasting impact on our conference. We’re so thankful she was part of the event.”

Our programs combine storytelling, movement, and real-life experiences to help children better understand and support one another.
The Hazelnut Movement is a program run alongside Luke 14 Ministries an official 501 (C) (3).
